What UV400, polarized and blue light filtering actually do.

UV400 protection
UV400 means the lens blocks all light wavelengths up to 400 nanometres, which covers 100% of UVA and UVB rays. It is the most important thing a pair of sunglasses can do, and it is standard on every Kelvin lens, whatever the tint.
Tint darkness and UV protection are separate: a light lens with UV400 protects better than a dark lens without it.

Polarized
Light reflecting off flat surfaces such as water, wet roads and glass becomes horizontally polarized and reaches your eye as glare. A polarized filter blocks that horizontal light, so you see deeper colours, more contrast and less squinting. Ideal for driving, the beach and the water.
Note: polarized lenses can make some LCD screens look darker at certain angles.

Blue light filtering
Phones, laptops and LED lighting emit high-energy blue light. Kelvin blue light lenses filter part of it and add an anti-glare coating, for more comfortable long sessions at the screen. The lens stays near-clear so colours remain true.
Blue light glasses are comfort eyewear and are not a medical device.
Caring for your lenses
Clean with the included microfibre cloth or lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap. Avoid paper towels, clothing and household cleaners, which scratch coatings. Store your frames in their case and never leave them on a car dashboard in direct sun.
